Shawn Bucher is a professional chef turned entrepreneur and author. Having traveled the country and worked professionally in most aspects of the foodservice industry for over 15 years, Shawn has held positions such as Chef Intructor, Food and Beverage Director, Executive Chef and General manager of both full service and quick service casual restaurants.  He currently owns and operates a consulting company that specializes in supporting major equipment manufactures.

Shawn holds a Culinary Certificate, a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management as well as Accounting & Professional Sales Certificates.  He is Certified Executive Chef (CEC) through the American Culinary Federation as well as a Certified Foodservice Executive (CFE) through the International Foodservice Executives Association. He is the recipient of the numerous awards and was a top four finalist for the 2011 foodservice professional Ocean Spray recipe contest.  Chef Shawn has taught professionally as a chef instructor for The International Culinary Schools at The Art Insitute in Salt Lake City and teaches home cooks at the Gygi Culinary Institute and other retail outlets.
